Hal Filian
Hal Filian, L.C.S.W., C.A.D.C. is a graduate of Loyola University and is both a licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.) and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (C.A.D.C). Hal is one of the founding partners of Arbor Counseling Center and has been both a clinician and clinical supervisor. His experience includes: Inpatient adolescent psychiatric treatment, outpatient youth and family psychotherapy, extensive individual and couple's therapy and treatment of a variety of mood and anxiety disorders. Early in his career, Hal focused his practice on working with children and adolescents, often referred the most difficult cases from local courts and police departments. Today his practice has expanded to working with adults and couples. His specialty areas include:

Personal Statement: "I've been married for 18 years and have 3 children under the age of 16. When I'm not involved in family activities, I enjoy adventuring outside. Climbing Mount Rainier several years ago reaffirmed for me the importance of conquering small goals and trusting a well experienced guide."
