David Lyke

David Lyke, MA, MDiv., L.C.P.C., is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and the University of Dallas where he obtained his Master's degrees. He has over 20 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapeutic services to a wide range of clientele, especially adolescents, couples and families. He also holds a Type 78 as a Licensed School Counselor in Illinois. Mr. Lyke is known for his genuine, empathic and empowering approach in helping clients connect to their highest potential.

  • Solution-Focused: How looking at exceptions, successes and creating specific, achievable goals helps to focus efforts in finding everyday solutions.
  • Psychodynamic: This explores how family and cultural history has shaped ones view of the world and how this insight can facilitate change in the present and hope for the future.
  • Spiritual Connections : This approach integrates spirituality and the client's personal and communal faith into the treatment. Used only when preferred by the client.
