Bob Marsh

Bob Marsh, L.C.S.W., received his MSW from the Loyola University of Chicago School of Social Work.  He works with adults, adolescents, couples, and families, utilizing a humanistic, person-centered approach.  He seeks to provide a safe, comfortable, nonjudgmental atmosphere in which clients feel at ease to explore whatever life issues have brought them to counseling.  He operates from the premise that, properly conducted, any moment of therapy can potentially provide an opening into meaningful self-discovery and healing, even a moment that may seem at first brush to be of little consequence.

Bob has experience in family service, inpatient psychiatric, chemical dependency, hospice, and private practice settings.  As a former hospice social worker, he has significant experience in helping individuals and families work through issues around death, dying, and bereavement.  As a former musician and futures trader, he is particularly well-suited to working with musicians, writers, artists, and traders in the markets.  All of his work is informed by a long-term practice of meditation and mindfulness.
